The Selectboard meets on Thursday evenings at Petersham Town Hall, 1 South Main Street.

Some of the many responsibilities of the three member elected Selectboard include, but are not limited to: calling Town Elections and Town Meetings; creating, approving, and posting Town Meeting Warrants; preparing, reviewing and making recommendations for the annual Town budget; preparing and seeking grant funding which benefits the Town; working closely with all Town staff and Boards to assure a circulation of information, provide assistance, and work on projects as needed; procuring goods and services as needed; managing oversight of Town buildings; and representing the Town for State and regional matters which involve the Town.
